Ok Folks, this is just a quick note to say I haven't forgotten about writing, I just haven't had an opportunity! I hope to next week sometime when I return to Sofia. In the meantime here is a picture from the Roman Ampitheatre in Plovdiv, Bulgaria where papa and I saw the opening ceremony for an international fencing competition. We went because Ensemble Trakia, the famous professional dance troupe from Plovdiv, was performing two dances. The fencing demo of some champions was about 25 seconds long...so the rest of the time was filled with speeches and songs by the 3 Tenors. Which tenors? I'm not exactly sure, but they sang some famous Italian songs and then some Bulgarian ones as well. It was very surprising and funny but they were quite good! Ensemble Trakia was absolutely amazing of course. I'll try to put up more pictures later.
Until then, happy dancing folks! I'll be heading to the Rhodopi Mountains tomorrow and who knows, maybe more dancing there too :)
